Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
Day 5
Throughout the tour an expert guide will be available to lead and assist the group by illustrating the nature and history of these incredible places. We will begin our five-day journey in stages from the southern part of the Pisan Hills.
Walking along the paths towards the north you will not miss the colors, the scents and the breathtaking views. Among our first stops we will find Santa Luce, for some years known as the “Tuscan Provence” for the many lavender crops that adorn the hills. And it is precisely from the processing of this aromatic plant that various producers in the area create cosmetic, homeopathic and personal well-being products. Also in Santa Luce there will be a visit to the Natural Reserve of Lake Santa Luce where every year it is an important destination for a great variety of migratory birds.
But the hills are also used for the cultivation of fodder, cereals and other plants, such as barley and hops: two fundamental ingredients for the production of beer. During one of our stages we will be able to taste a few glasses and, above all, get to know who produces it starting from the cultivation of raw materials.
If so far our eyes have been enlivened by the view of the sea that protruded in the distance behind the hills, moving us towards the hinterland, it will be the small ancient villages that surround our journey. Chianni and Rivalto are two examples. Our tour will end in Terricciola, a village known for its soil that lends itself well to the production of excellent wines and, for this reason, home to the Pisan Hills Wine Route.
What better way to end a trip than by laughing together over a glass of good wine?
A 5-day holiday on modern Ebike, where we will meet producers, farms and we will be able to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature firsthand, discovering its unique and unmistakable flavors.
